Like a spell that casts a constant shield around you, etc.Ĥ) The workshop the tutorial mentions is where you find the fireball spell. I may keep that as is, just as a heads up.ģ) You can lower the cast times of defensive spells so they cast faster! I don't like the idea of a wizard ducking and diving spells, but there will be more defensive options later on. Losing the channeled spell is part of the difficulty. So if jamming spacebar isn't your thing you can change it. This should help with blocking spells and navigating narrow corridors.Ģ) I'll put in control customization in the full release too. I have made it so you can now rotate spells! Its not in the demo but will be available in full release. Thank you so much for the feedback! It is currently a work in progress so this stuff really helps me.ġ) First off the good news. Except for maybe Noita, but that is a side-scroller platform and uber hard. I did like the minimalistic art style though and the variety of spellcasting you don't often find either in games these days. This might even appeal to me later, but for now, it is a hard pass. Enemies have pinpoint accuracy with their spells, but I found that I had to let them get super close to have any hope of hitting them. I never found that workshop, and that irritates me.ĥ. The tutorial mentioned some form of workshop, to the north but then it led me to the eldritch cave, as I went to the north. I don't like that there isn't a way to dodge out of the way of enemy attacks and that defensive spells take as long to cast as offensive spells.Ĥ. Also, I didn't like that getting hit would result in me losing the spell entirely, even if I had fully channelled it.ģ. I don't like that you have to press space once to channel and then again to cast it. Also the collision box on them is wider than they appear, and so I thought I had room to run around it, didn't got cornered and died.Ģ. You couldn't rotate walls, like the ice wall, to block enemy projectiles at a specific angle. It is fairly innovative, but doesn't feel like my cup of tea.
